Water is essential to life. It covers nearly 71 percent of the Earth's surface and is found in three forms: liquid, solid and gas. Most important, it is fundamental to all life. Where there is water, there is life. It's that simple. One of the largest challenges facing our nation and the world is the ability to provide a clean, abundant supply of fresh water. Much of our water resource is polluted.
